I just ate a tastey lunch… I’m stuffed!
When was the last time you felt full after eating a meal? Was it yesterday? This morning after breakfast? Or, if you’re like me, was it after your late lunch today? Let’s not take that feeling for granted. Thank You Christ for providing us with food!
There are many wonderful versus in the Bible worthy of daily rememberance. Today I share this portion found in Philippians 3:13-16. “forgetting what lies behind and forging toward what lies ahead….” It is important to keep looking forward, otherwise we stay in the same stinking place and never progress. The future is before us and we will miss it if we keep looking backward. Christ make this possible, with His help we can keep our eyes to what lies ahead. Thank you Lord for this amazing instruction and you help us overcome the experience of the past.
Lord I thank you for giving me such strong people around me that can push me to be a better person and in turn giving me the opportunity to push them to be better people.
I thank Christ for my job, for my car that takes me back and forth, for my eyes to be able to see what I’m doing, my legs so I can get around the place,
hands that I can do my work, and the list can go on forever because God’s blessings are many, but the bottom line is He loves me so much that He wants me to spend eternity with Him. Everything will pass away but His love is forever. Thank You Christ for your so many blessings in my life.
I thank God for my husband because he led me to God. I did not grow up in a Christian family. It was through my husband and his family that I really found Christ. Thank you lord for all of my blessings- my husband, my family, my health, my job and most importantly for you. With out Christ none of these blessings would be possible.
As a child, I was beaten and bruised. Put down and neglected. It was unbearable. The abuse was torturous, the air of hate constantly surrounded my sister and I. I used to pray for God to take me away so I could die on Earth and go be with Him in Heaven, for I believed the world was a scary, horrible place with no good left in it. I realized, though, after making horrible choices over and over again in my young adult life, that God obviously had a plan for me, or I wouldn’t be here. He brought me out of the hands of evil people and put me on my own for a reason, and I decided to take control of the life God gave me and start walking the path He wanted me to. I now have an amazing husband who loves me, is the best father to our two beautiful children anyone could pray for, and best of all, loves God. Every day I thank Him for blessing me so tremendously with this beautiful family, and giving me the chance to see the good in this world, and to show MY children a world much different than the one i grew up in…a world of Hope, of Kindness, of Beauty. Thank you, Jesus.

I am constantly blown away at the soveriegnty of God. Everything exists because of Him, for Him and through Him. It begins and ends with Him. Thank Christ that I am not the one running the show (although I try to most of the time). I am content in the complexity and simplicity of the sovereignty of God. Thank Christ.
It is hard to believe that January 09 is almost gone. Time does fly faster than anybody can imagine. We really never live in the present but a moment. It is either past or future. The present is an instant. So do what you want to do now, do not wait til later. Later may come and go without notice. Only 10 & 1/2 months left for Christmas.
I thank God for His AMAZING unconditional love! It is so unfathomable. So uncontainable. So perfect.
Thank you Lord for loving us. Teach us to love like You!
