Christ is My Valentine

The Christian faith is based, totally, on the love of God for man. Jesus loved us so much that He gave up Himself for us. It is the one and only true love, agape, the selfless and never ending. So Christ is my worthy valentine. I am thankfull that I can call Him my valentine forever!

Love is Beautiful

I am lucky to sit and thank God for the man in my life. After 3 and a half years of dating, He proposed. How lucky and BLESSED I am to have him forever in my life. God saved me from a horrible guy a couple months before I met my love. I thank God for His continual love and blessings in our life!

Creation

Thank you Father for the beauty of you creation. I thank you for a day to enjoy the fresh air and clear skies. You are amazing.

The Ability to Love

Thank Christ for the ability to love. I can approach every day like it’s Valentines Day, and go out of my way to show love for others!

Keep My Job

Thank You Christ for helping me keep my job. With all the lay-offs going on in the company I need all the saints out there to pray for me, and I know I’m in His care. Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers.

Frances

Avacado

I get the priviledge of working with the ladies that assemble the bulletins at my church. We call them the “bulletin stuffers”. I thank Christ for allowing me to get to know each one of them.

They show up every Friday, and usually finish stuffing 1500 bulletins in an hour. This is their ministry. Most of them are in their late 80s and early 90s, so imagine the wealth of knowledge and experience that is in the room when they get together. They share amazing stories about themselves and their families, and about the history of our church.

Sadly, one of the ladies passed away last Friday. Her name was Frances, and she was one of the most warm-hearted and spunky ladies I have ever known.

You might be wondering why there is a picture of an avocado in this post. Well, I took the picture. The avocado is sitting on my desk because Frances gave it to me two weeks ago (she always gave me avocados because she knew how much I love them). This one was too hard to eat at the time, so I thought I’d let it sit on my desk and ripen for a week. Well, now I look at it and think of Frances, and I reflect on the time we spent together. I thank Christ for her.

He Takes Care of Us

Thank God that He is in control and takes care of our needs.

For the Godly People

Thank Christ for the Godly people who have had a lasting effect on my life. These people are not many, but they are here and they can be a great support when needed. The lastest ones I met are E.S. and B.P. May the Lord reward them with His Blessings.

Home

I always hear people say “there’s no place like home.” Well, it’s true. Thank You Christ for blessing me with a place I can call home, because there’s no place like it!

Thank You God

Thank You God for how You continue to protect my family during these difficult times. Thank You for the way You have answered my prayers – for both the part that disappointed and for the part that was a YES! You are an awesome, faithful God and I praise Your holy name!
