Date with My Wife

Thank Christ for my wife. I just went on a date with her. We watched a movie, and then went out to dinner. Very refreshing for us to spend time together and talk over dinner. A great way to start the week together.

Thank You for Everything

Thank you Lord for everything. This is the right prayer because the Lord knows what everything means, and we are instructed to Thank Him for everything all the time. It is us who do not know or remember what everything is or was. So it is good for us to enumerate the blessings one by one. It strengthens our faith by reminding us how good and caring God is. I am thankful today for His love for me and for my family.

I RUN for HIM!

I am so thankful that the Lord has given me the strength and ability to run! During college I thought I was a horrible runner and just got back into the swing of things. This morning I ran 6 miles in under an hour and will be doing my second race in April! Praise Jesus for His provision and strength!!!

Trust in The Lord

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In All your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.” Thank You Lord for this promise, I do trust You with all my heart. Amen

I am thankful that God provided a job for my dad

Trust in You

“You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in You.” – Isaiah 26:3

This scripture is in the dashboard of my car on a now tattered, holding-on-for-dear-life, stickie note. I put it there about a year ago when I quit my job and started working for myself. I read it every day. Whenever my confidence in my choices are low, I feel doubt, or am scared of what the future holds…it reminds me that You have laid this path before me and that I should follow it boldly knowing You have led me there with a purpose. It reminds me to continue to listen to where You are taking me and where You will lead me in all things. Thank You for continually leading me to a stronger and more firm position of You being the center of my heart! It has helped to heal the many scars of my heart knowing that I can trust in You, my Father, to love and protect me and be my guiding light.

My Husband

I thank God for my husband. He is my best friend, my companion, my confidant and my one true love. Thank You for directing our paths to each other and I pray that you continue to be the foundation of our marrige.

For Love

Thank You Lord for loving us and giving us the ability to love.

For Life

I Thank Christ for life. There are many opportunities in life. As long as I am alive “I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength” (Philippians 4:13). Last weekend, I heard a man who had no arms and no legs speak. He was so excited about life, that I even forgot about his limitations. If you are reading this praise, remember that you are alive and Christ can help you do what you think is impossible.
