For Being Him
This is a stolen thought/prayer. I used to work with a guy named Shannon and he said something like it…
We often thank Christ for stuff He gives us, ways He changes us, times He helps us etc… This traps us into thanking Christ for things He does for us instead of thanking/worshiping Him simply because He is worthy. Before He does anything to help us, He is worthy. Before He changes us, He is worthy. Before He saves us, He is worthy. Before He does anything, He is worthy. He is worthy when sitting. He is worthy when standing. Thank You Jesus for being Jesus. Thank You Messiah for being Messiah. Whether You bless me or not, whether You change me or not, whether You save me or not; You alone are worthy.

Made Me how He Wants Me
I thank Christ for making me exactly the way He wants me. The Bible says that God formed each of us in our mother’s womb. He knows how many hairs are on my head. There is no one exactly like me. I am unique. It is up to me to seek His will for my life and make the most of what He has blessed me with!
