Response to the Crisis

I am thankful for the amazing response of the God’s Church to the crisis in Haiti!

The Rain

I am thankful for the rain that is much needed, the grass is happy and I feel God is telling me that things will be OK. Thank you Lord for this Blessing

For Health

I just got over a bad case of a cold. The coughing, the sneezing and the runny nose, all the discomforts of life and more. Now that I feel better, I can tell the difference and I thank Christ for health and may He help me to stay healthy always. Amen

For the Rain

On May 28 2009 my teaching assignment was on a Christian’s prayer life. At the end of the class and with the drought upon us and the new water use restrictions. I asked if we could pray for plenty of rain this yearto end the drought in California, Elijiah prayed specifically for the rain and God asnswered. So I lead the prayer and have not doubted since. A week later the Orange County registered reported a new pressure acting in the North Pole which will produce heavy rains in the West Coast of the United States. This week the promised rain to end the drought is here. I thank Christ for answering my specific prayer. His Word is forever true. Amen

My Family

I just wat to thank Christ for blessing me with my family. It is so fun to have both parents and brothers and sisters and children and a wife. God is good!

My Young Son

I thank Christ for you all the time. I’ve always known since the early morning you were born that God has special work for you to do. I admire your efforts and I pray that God will continue to use you for His service. 1 Timothy 4:12 says “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, in your faith, and in your purity. Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures to the church, encouraging the believers, and teaching them.” And this, my son, is my my message to you. I thank God for you and your brothers.

My Wife

I am thankful for my wife. She is a good partner in life that strives toward our common goals. She loves God, and encourages my faith. She loves me and does everything she can to make me happy.

She can also be a pain in the butt from time to time, but her flawes are far outweighed by her big heart and ambition to build a happy and God centered home for us.

I thank Christ for my lovely wife!!

Righteous Indignation

I am so thankful for the privileges and blessings that the Lord has given me in my time here on earth. We are so blessed beyond comprehension in this country. We are blessed to be blessings. Slowly, I am waking up to the truth about the injustices in this world with a righteous indignation. I’ve lived comfortably with blindness for so long. Thank you, Lord for beginning to open my eyes. I am thankful for all of those who are working to halt these injustices around the world, who have laid down their lives in the name of Christ’s love for His people in order to serve the body.

My Blog Readers

Because they are an amazing encouragement to me all the time. Thank you, guys.

2009 is Gone Forever

2009 was a tough year, a lot of challenges, worries and prayers. From every direction I heard what a terrible year it was. I, personally, look at it this way, GOD TOOK US THROUGH IT ALL THE WAY. Thank Christ for holding us in the palm of His hand, keeping us and our loved ones safe from harm. Trials ae hard but Paul says in Romans 5:3 “we can rejoice when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment.” I have the hope in 2010 because our Heavenly Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit will be in it with me and my family all the way. Thank you Christ for the hope and for this website.
