Thank you Lord for the baby girl that’s on the way and will be here, Lord willing, next week. I can’t wait to hold her and kiss her all over.

I was just visited by a woman I only saw once a couple of years ago,who came and wanted to pray with me, for me and my family. She came today to let me know that she is still praying for me. After she left it hit me how God sends us as messingers to pray for one another who are in the Lord. It brings strength, comfort and peace. Though I don’t know this lady, I know that I thank Christ for her.

My Bittersweet Day

After nearly 15 years of chronic pain, thousands of doctor appointments and surgery, I am both, happy, but sad. I am relieved, but in denial.

I was discharged from the hospital less than 6 hours ago and finally gained enough strength to sit at my computer.

While I never want anything “bad” to happen to myself or anyone else, I prayed very hard the past week and this morning for God to give me the worst news – to find something “wrong” with me, and give me the peace that I have been searching for. God did answer my prayers. He gave me a wonderful doctor who not only made this procedure feel like nothing, I was given all the information I needed to finally be able to move on with my life.

Today was very challenging and testing, but in the end, it was perfect. I am reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths”.

Remember, God upholds each of His children in His right hand and we are in the shadow of His wing. May they “seek Him with their whole heart, mind, soul, and strength” and lean to Him for it.

Today, I lift up my most sincere praise and thanks to God who brought me through today and has more-than provided for me and my needs.

Wherever I Am, I realize how much I need you with me and near me, Jesus. I would rather be sitting at your feet rather than sitting in the company of kings. The world could not and would not offer me the peace and joy you give so generousely to me and to my family. You know that I am human and you know all my weaknesses and my doubts. Come reside in me, with me and surround me with your love. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

The Freedom to Say “No”

Thank you Jesus for giving me the strength to set a healthy boundary today. I am a people-pleaser, which often “sells well” in Christian circles but is not always healthy for me or for others.Today was different and I feel a lightness in my being. AMEN.

Thank Christ for the peace You give my loved ones, they will not fear though the earth shakes and the mountains roll into the sea, YOU, Lord, are watching and charging Your angels to keep watch over them. YOU, Jesus, are my only source, peace and help in time of need. Thank You Jesus, my rescuer.

Have No Fear

Thank You Christ for Your Word that says in Hebrews 13:6&7,”I will NEVER fail you. I will NEVER abandon you.” So we can say in confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have NO fear. What can mere people do to me?” Help us Lord to remember these wonderful promises and stand on them, because Your Word is always true. Thank You Jesus.

Thank You for keeping the promise of Isaiah 41:10 — Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

Once again, God, you have proven that you are bigger than my fears.

Christ Paying My Bill through Somebody Else

I am thankful for christ paying my bills on time when I went to pay my bill they at ATT told me it was paid already. Then this week they told me it wasn’t payed so I sent them money to pay for it and Christ helped me be patient. I love Christ Jesus so very much. He’s my bestest friend.

Bible Study

Thank you Christ for the bible study I attend every week. I pray Lord for those who attend to come with their hearts prepared to hear your word and be blessed so they can go out the rest of the week and bless other people. I pray that every word that is read, and every word said to honor you and penetrate their whole being, to come with the thirst and hunger for your word, in Jesus name, AMEN.
