Here’s a great video for Mother’s Day.

I thought it would be fun to share a recent design of mine, called “An Eagle Caught Me.” Yes, that’s me in the picture.
The idea behind the design is simple – when I fall, God (the Eagle) is there to catch me.
Thank Christ for always being there for me. I am constantly falling short, and there is no one in this life more reliable to catch me than Him.

I like reading interesting magazines, but I only subscribe to one – COLLIDE Magazine. Every two months, I can’t wait to find the next issue in my mailbox.
Well, yesterday I found the latest issue in my mailbox (Issue 10, March/April 2009). As I was skimming through the magazine (which I always do before reading each article), I ended up stopping to read through the “Tech & Web Reviews” section. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I want to thank COLLIDE Magazine for reviewing ThankChrist.com. I love what they have to say!

WHAT’S COOL: ThankChrist.com is a basic website that allows you to publicly thank Christ and read what others are thanking Christ for. Share your praises, read others’ praises, and respond, all in a confidential manner. The site even has an RSS feed so you can easily keep up with what others are thankful for.
WHAT’S NOT: How can we find something negative about thanking God and sharing those praises with others?
THE BOTTOM LINE: Whether God checks the Internet, we don’t know, but ThankChrist.com is a great way to share your thankfulness to Him with others.

Thank Christ for my dog, Bitsy.
When I was 12 years old, I asked my parents for a dog. My dad told me to ask God for the exact kind of dog that I wanted. So, that night I prayed for a small white dog with brown spots. A week later God sent me Bitsy – a white, month-old Miniature Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix (with brown spots and all).
I took Bitsy to Central Bark today (a dog park down the street). She’s 13 years old now (91 in dog years). It was the first time we went to a dog park together. She has never been around that many dogs in one place, so her natural reaction was to stand as close to my leg as possible.
As I tried my best to walk around the park with her, a thought came to mind. Bitsy has been a loyal companion. Looking back on all of the major events that happened during the last 13 years of my life, I realize that she has always been by my side. She is a reminder that God is always by my side – He cares about me and answers even the simplest of my prayers. So, thank You Christ for Bitsy, a reminder that You love me.
